ATM Card
Use your American Bank ATM card at any ATM location where you see the Cirrus or Plus logo to have access to your cash 24 hours a day 7 days a week. You may also transfer funds between accounts, and inquire on current balances. Your card will have safety features including a personal identification number (PIN) which has to be entered in order to access your accounts. Transaction fees may be imposed by the financial institution that owns the machine.  However, if the card is used at an American Bank or an American Trust machine, no fee is charged.  Fees may be applied if your card is used at other out-of-state locations.
Debit Card
Carry an American Bank debit card with you wherever you go instead of cash and experience the convenience of a credit card, but without the interest charges or monthly billings. When you pay using your American Bank debit card, funds are automatically deducted from your checking account, and listed by item on your monthly checking account statement. The debit card will save you the cost and nuisance of checks and it features the VISA symbol, welcomed at merchants worldwide. Also, you can pay for merchandise at point-of-sale locations in supermarkets, retail stores, and other merchant locations. The card has NO ANNUAL FEE for the first year with any American Bank checking account.
